Top 10 Best Films Of All-Time

1. Gladiator (2003) Ridley Scott best work to date, this epic historical drama is without a doubt my favorite movie of all time. Russell Crowe plays the role of Maximus Decimus Meridius a Hispano-Roman general in Germania who after the murder of his family vows vengeance alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Djimon Hounsou. This epic depression movie also won five Academy Awards at the 73rd Academy Awards. Hans Zimmer "Now We Are Free" a soundtrack from the movie is also one of my favorite song of all-time.

2. Apocalypto (2006) Next,is Mel Gibson 2006 American epic action-adventure film starring Rudy Youngblood as Jaguar Paw a tribesman who must escape human sacrifice and rescue his family after the capture and destruction of his village. This adrenaline-drenched chase movie blown me away and its arguably one of the best movie i've ever seen.

3. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) This 2003 epic fantasy-drama which is last film in The Lord of the Rings trilogy is one of the great achievements in film history. And also being a big fan of the LOTR trilogy i gotta say this film is really a satisfying conclusion to a great trilogy. It also tied with Ben-Hur (1959) and Titanic (1997)for winning the most awards at the Oscar with 11 each.

4. Titanic (1997) Say as much as you want but you can't change the fact that this 1997 epic romantic disaster film is the only film that make millions and millions of people cried when they first watching it. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, this romantic and emotionally film won 11 academy awards out of 14 nominations including best director for James Cameron and went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time until Avatar surpassed it in 2010.

5. Avatar (2009) Now you can call me a James Cameron fan and hell yeah i am, 15 years of making, this 2009 epic science fiction film starring Sam Worthington was set in the mid-22nd century when humans are mining a precious mineral called unobtanium on Pandora. This 3D film broke several box office records and became the highest-grossing film and the best Sci-Fi movie of all-time.This film is just extraordinary.

6. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) Based on J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings this 2001 epic fantasy film is no doubt the greatest fantasy of all-time. It's emotion and music especially Howard Shore "In Dreams" and the beauty of the Shire just make me feel like i was already in Paradise. It won Peter Jackson four Academy Awards and five British Academy Film Awards.

7. The Dark Knight (2008) Considered one of the best films of the 2000s and one of the best superhero films ever made, This might come as a shocked to you as all the above list were all epic films and this one a Superhero. But Christopher Nolan The Dark Knight by mile was different from the other superhero movies. Heath Ledger who stars as the Joker make the different. Even the music was purely amazing which was rare to find in other superhero movies. It is also the highest grossing films of 2008 and the fourteen of all-time.

8. Braveheart (1995) Mel Gibson starred and directed this epic historical drama film based on the first war of Scottish Independence against England. The film won five Academy Awards including the awards for Best Picture and Best Director. The Battle of Stirling Bridge is one of the best battles in cinema history.

9. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) With two of it's prequel and sequel have already make the list i just don't want this one to be left behind. This 2002 epic fantasy film is a winner of two academy awards and is a continuing plot of The Fellowship of the Ring. The Battle of Helm's Deep is one my favorite and one of the greatest screen battles of all time.

10. The Passion of the Christ (2004) Jim Caviezel starred as Jesus Christ on this 2004 biblical film directed by Mel Gibson. The film mainly focus on the final 12 hours of Jesus' life, beginning with the Agony in the Garden and ending with a brief depiction of his resurrection. This is one of the most touching film i have ever seen.
